Source: Monmouthshire Beacon
Osbaston School in Monmouthshire has established a meaningful connection with St. Lucy's School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Kenya. This cross-cultural initiative, funded by the Welsh Government’s Wales and Africa Grants Scheme and administered by WCVA, aims to foster mutual understanding and support between the two institutions. Through this partnership, St. Lucy’s has received essential IT equipment, enabling students to access the full curriculum and achieve parity with their sighted peers in Kenya. The collaboration not only enhances educational opportunities for visually impaired students but also promotes cultural exchange and global solidarity.
