Vision Nonprofit, a volunteer-driven organization founded in 2023, has announced the 'Bridge the Gap: Ohio 30 Initiative' for 2026. Building on the success of their 2025 program, which provided specialized technology to 15 students, this new initiative aims to supply 30 blind or visually impaired students across Southwest Ohio with high-end assistive technology kits.
The organization has set a fundraising goal of $44,300 to procure iPad Pro kits tailored to the needs of K-12 students facing visual challenges. With approximately 3,000 visually impaired children in Hamilton and Butler Counties, this initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to educational resources.
