Infrabel, Belgium's rail infrastructure manager, has launched a new railway safety programme aimed at blind and visually impaired young people aged 12 to 18. Developed in collaboration with organizations Eqla and Les Amis des Aveugles, the free programme is available in French and Dutch and is intended for teachers, support workers, and organizations. It includes an immersive audio experience, a board game called 'Rail Maniac,' and an alphabet-based activity designed to familiarize young people with railways and safety rules. The initiative aims to enhance safety and awareness among visually impaired youth navigating railway environments.
