BBOMA Tool Seeks Input from Orientation and Mobility Specialists

The Brain Based Orientation and Mobility Assessment (BBOMA) tool is inviting feedback from Orientation and Mobility (O&M) specialists. This is part of a second study focusing on students diagnosed with Cerebral/Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). The specialists will use the BBOMA tool to assess how higher visual functions affect a student's navigation abilities.
Participation Details
O&M specialists are required to review and employ the BBOMA tool with one student diagnosed with CVI. After completing the assessment, they must fill out a brief questionnaire to share their experience. It's crucial that no specific student information is disclosed in the process.
Criteria for Participation
Interested O&M specialists should be actively working with students with CVI, have at least three years of experience in the field, and hold certification from either ACVREP or NBPCB.
