Meta has announced an initiative to provide legally blind veterans in the United States with free Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses. These AI-powered glasses feature a built-in multimodal assistant capable of understanding auditory requests and processing visual cues, assisting users with tasks such as reading documents, identifying objects, and making calls. To support veterans in integrating this technology into their daily lives, Meta is partnering with the Blinded Veterans Association and TechSoup to offer hands-on training, monthly webinars, and a comprehensive training guide.
