Vision Resource Center to Host Blindness Awareness Month Events in Cumberland County

The Vision Resource Center of Cumberland County (VRC) is recognizing Blindness Awareness Month throughout October 2026 with a series of community events. These events aim to amplify the voices of people who are blind or visually impaired, increase awareness, encourage inclusion, and bring the greater Cumberland County community together. Activities include a Community Town Hall, a World Sight Day Walk through Downtown Fayetteville, and a celebration recognizing Blind Americans Equality Day & White Cane Day. VRC invites members, families, volunteers, community partners, and neighbors to join in these events to advocate, learn, connect, and celebrate the blind and visually impaired community.
