Source: Good Things Guy
On September 1, 2026, the South African National Council for the Blind (SANCB) participated in the University of Pretoria's Disability Week at the Groenkloof Campus. Collaborating with Tuks FM, the Faculty of Education, and the Centre for Visual Impairment Studies, SANCB set up an exhibition stall showcasing assistive devices and technologies used by blind and partially sighted individuals. Students had the opportunity to interact with these tools and engage in discussions about accessibility and inclusion. This initiative aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the experiences of blind and visually impaired people among the university community. (goodthingsguy.com)
