Voice of the Blind has learned that on July 3, 2026, the Jehovah’s Witnesses introduced the complete New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures in Polish braille. This significant announcement was made by Brother Jacob Rumph, a member of the Governing Body, at the 2026 “Eternal Happiness” International Convention in Warsaw, Poland.
The release marks a major milestone in making religious texts accessible to the blind and low vision communities in Poland. The convention, held in Warsaw, served as a fitting backdrop for the introduction of the braille edition, highlighting the ongoing efforts to include everyone in spiritual practices.
This initiative reflects a broader commitment by the Jehovah’s Witnesses to ensure that everyone, regardless of their visual abilities, can access and engage with their religious teachings. Attendees of the convention expressed their gratitude for the newly available scripture, emphasizing its importance for personal faith and community inclusion.
