HumanWare Launches First KeySoft Update for BrailleNote Evolve

Voice of the Blind has learned that HumanWare has released the first KeySoft update for the BrailleNote Evolve. This new update introduces enhanced connectivity and improved Braille content navigation.

With the update, a new feature stands out: the Braille Terminal app. This function allows users to connect their BrailleNote Evolve via Bluetooth. It can now serve as a Braille display for a variety of devices including iPhone, Mac, Apple TV, and Windows PCs using VoiceOver.

This enhancement is poised to significantly improve the user experience by providing seamless integration and functionality for blind and low vision individuals. The ability to connect to multiple platforms effectively bridges the gap between different technologies and offers more flexibility in how Braille content is accessed and utilized.
