Over 700 babies and toddlers with vision impairment will benefit from audio-tactile books, products, and services designed by the Living Paintings charity, thanks to a £60,000 grant from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Freemasons. The project aims to develop a coordinated and accessible support infrastructure tailored to the complex needs of young children who are blind or visually impaired. Expected outcomes include increased parental confidence in supporting their child's development and fostering a sense of community among families facing similar challenges.
