Florida Division of Blind Services Celebrates 85 Years of Impact

The Florida Department of Education's Division of Blind Services is commemorating its 85th anniversary with a statewide tour themed "85 Years of Impact and a Future Beyond Limits." The celebration includes five regional events throughout October 2026, starting in Pensacola and concluding in Fort Myers. These events aim to honor the division's longstanding commitment to empowering Floridians who are blind or visually impaired, focusing on independence, career opportunities, and personal development. The tour will bring together clients, families, employers, partners, and community leaders to reflect on past achievements and discuss future initiatives. (aol.com)
