Dallas Area Council of the Blind Announces Upcoming Meeting

The Dallas Area Council of the Blind (DACB) has scheduled its next meeting for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at La Madeleine, located at 6430 North MacArthur Boulevard in Irving, Texas. The meeting room will be available starting at 11:00 AM, and participants are encouraged to arrive early to eat and socialize. DACB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals in the Dallas metropolitan area through advocacy, education, cooperation, and friendship. The organization is a chapter of the American Council of the Blind of Texas, an affiliate of the national organization. Upcoming highlighted events include Braille Awareness Day, Technology Olympics, Braille Challenge, Chapter Picnic, White Cane Day, various fundraisers, and a Christmas Party.
