Source: Aviation Pros
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) has partnered with ReBokeh Vision Technologies to offer free assistive technology for travelers with low vision. This collaboration makes BWI the first airport in the Mid-Atlantic to provide such a service. The ReBokeh mobile app allows users to customize visual settings in real time, improving navigation through the terminal. Features include adjustable contrast, zoom, and color settings, as well as an AI tool for answering questions about the surroundings. This initiative aims to create a more inclusive travel experience by enabling low-vision passengers to independently locate gates, amenities, and services.
