Bristol Braille Technology Develops NVDA Driver for Canute
Source: Braillists Foundation
Voice of the Blind has learned that Bristol Braille Technology is making strides with an experimental NVDA driver for their innovative Canute products. Currently, the driver supports displaying two lines of Braille. However, with NVDA's recent advancements in multiline Braille support, there is anticipation for the driver to eventually support all nine lines of the Canute.
Future Developments
Bristol Braille is eager to expand this capability and is calling on developers and testers to join in pushing the project forward. This collaboration is critical for enhancing the accessibility features of the Canute, which is designed to support the needs of the blind community by providing a more extensive Braille reading experience.
