
Netflix's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Star and Blindness Consultant Visit Wayfinder Family Services

Miyako, who portrays blind earthbender Toph Beifong in Season 2 of Netflix's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender,' along with the series' blindness consultant Joe Strechay, recently visited Wayfinder Family Services in Los Angeles. They delivered a signed Funko Pop figurine from the cast and toured the Davidson Program for Independence, a residential rehabilitation program for adults who are blind or visually impaired. Wayfinder's programs provide training in Braille, orientation and mobility, assistive technology, and independent living skills, empowering individuals to achieve greater independence in their daily lives.
