AI-Powered Glasses for the Blind Showcased at Las Vegas Tech Event

At a recent technology event in Las Vegas, a Romanian startup unveiled AI-powered 'glasses for the blind,' designed to assist visually impaired individuals in navigating their surroundings. The wearable device functions like a digital guide dog, using artificial intelligence to analyze the environment in real time.

Equipped with sensors and cameras, the glasses detect obstacles, pathways, and changes in terrain, guiding users through subtle head turns in the correct direction. This innovation aims to provide greater independence and safety for blind and low vision users, representing a significant advancement in assistive technology.
